Why follow me? Why will my one blog be interesting to read? (Because I'm awesome!) Because here's a unique thing: insight about writing from a teen's point of view. I realize that us teen writers face many of the same problems as adults writers, and sometimes more. So that's what makes this interesting!
Additionally, here are some of the projects that I'm working on...
- THE NOVEL. Currently titled "How a Little Girl Became a Soldier" and it's at 18, 970 words this very moment. So you'll get to tag along with me as I talk about my noveling process and the woes and pros of going BIG.
- Journalism! I'm the lead critic for Kids Pick Flicks .com which is a wonderful job, minus the not getting paid part. But really, I love them, and being a movie critic is fun. I also write articles for a kids news publication, and I've been working for them for just about two years now.
- Random poems rock! I might even post some here...
And yes, I did say something about world views or thoughts on life. So I'm going to assure you that I can be witty and funny at times, and that my opinions are well worth being heard. But you can continue reading and decide for yourself.
Lastly, I just like to talk about writing. So I figured, why not blog?
